Bloomington — Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Bloomington is offering free STEM summer workshops for high school students and adults. Participants will gain hands-on experience and be introduced to careers in microelectronics, automated manufacturing, and defense-related industries.
The one-week workshops start June 8 for high school students and June 15 for adults. The workshops offer an entry-level overview to anyone who may be exploring future careers or wanting to make a change.
These sessions give high school students exposure to real-world STEM applications and connect residents directly to workforce opportunities in our region.”

Interactive activities include circuit board assembly, soldering, robotics, automation programming, and cleanroom simulations. Participants will build in-demand skills, learn the fundamentals of the microelectronics industry, and hear from local industry insiders, area companies, and hiring managers.
