BLOOMINGTON – Code/IT Academy is accepting applicants for the next 10-week, information technology (IT) training class that starts May 5, 2026. Residents across the 11-county Indiana Uplands region are eligible to apply and training leads to local careers in tech. Classes are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and there is no cost to participate.

Code/IT Academy is beginner-friendly, no prior experience is needed. Participants will build essential skills and be prepared to earn the CompTIA Tech+ certification, qualifying them for entry-level IT roles.

Loaner laptops are available for the free course. Accepted applicants will also receive career coaching, job search support, and the opportunity to continue their IT education at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios.

The program is offered through a partnership between , , and , supported by a $1.37M READI grant.
