The safety of our students, faculty, staff, and partners is of the utmost importance. To ensure you receive timely updates about campus emergencies, operations, and instructional delivery please update your IvyAlert preferences.

Your subscription to the system defaults to your Ģ����Ƶios email address and alerts you to events about each campus on which you are currently taking classes. To customize your alert preferences:

• Log in to  using your MyIvy username and password
• Add additional email addresses and/or a mobile phone for text alerts (standard data rates apply)
• Choose “Opt-In Lists” to check off any of the 19 campuses for which you would like to receive alerts

Message and data rates may apply. Text messages are sent on an as-needed basis. This service is provided per the ‍‍‍�č½��Ի���‍�č‍‍. Text STOP to the short code you received the message from to cancel or HELP for tech support.

MESSAGE UPDATES

We’ve made some improvements to our messaging to better serve you during emergencies. Messages will now come in one of two categories – Emergency or Urgent. Please take a moment to read the definition of each category. 

• Emergency – Is placed at the beginning of an IvyAlert that requires immediate action on the part of the recipient to protect life, health, and/or property.   
• Urgent – Is placed at the beginning of an IvyAlert message that requires an action on the part of the recipient for their safety. This may include changes in campus operations and instructional delivery. 

 Due to text length constraints we will be using campus abbreviations. Please view the list below.

This is what a sample message might look like: 

URGENT IvyAlert [CampusName]: All locations operating virtually [Insert date] due to weather. Students check IvyLearn & staff check ITCC email for info.
