What's next?

  • In order for parents, guardians or others to gain access to academic records, you as the student must sign the FERPA waiver form. This can be done at the enrollment center anytime.

  • We’ll scan your photo ID and upload into our system in case you are chosen to verify your identification at some point in the future. This can be done during an in-person appointment at the enrollment center.

  • Create your MyIvy account at . Your C number and student email will be required.

    • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at .

    • Apply for Scholarships - Using the tool in

    • Workplace / Next Level Jobs / Other

    • Request a Student Loan - Using the tool in

  • Knowledge Assessments (KA) are taken to ensure you are placed in the correct class for your program, unless:

    • You submit high school transcripts with a cumulative GPA of 2.6 or higher, or
    • You submit SAT, ACT, or PSAT scores and meet minimum scores,
      Note: Information must be within the last four years of time of submission
    • You submit college transcripts with an earned Math and/or English credit earned.
      Transcripts can be sent to transcripts@ivytech.edu

    KA’s can be found through by selecting the “Knowledge Assessment” link—take the assessments online and use built-in study paths to increase scores if needed.

    Check with your enrollment specialist about required scores for your program.

  • Schedule an appointment with your advisor through your account using the Schedule an Appointment tool or by calling Advising directly at 260-480-4125.

    • Review your balance. Using the My Account Balance section in , set up a payment plan or pay in full.
    • Select Refund Preference - Using the tool in

    • Keep an eye on your student email in ! You’ll get info about your books and other important ĢƵios communication.
