About the Columbus Campus

Welcome to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Columbus! We are excited to offer students 40 academic programs in our service area, which includes five satellite locations in Franklin, Shelbyville, Greensburg, North Vernon and Seymour. Our faculty and staff are dedicated to preparing our students with the skills and confidence needed for the workforce today. And, we are proud to be the most affordable option in higher education in Indiana. The possibilities are limitless for our Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios grads!

What Makes Our Campus Unique?

  • Located at the  along with IU Columbus and Purdue Polytechnic, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Columbus offers accessible, affordable, and seamless pathways to careers and continuing education opportunities at four-year universities. Our state-of-the-art main campus building, Moravec Hall, features bright, welcoming spaces for students to learn, collaborate, and study in technologically advanced simulation labs and classrooms.
  • Neighboring one of the busiest airports in Indiana, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Columbus has partnered with  to provide Professional Flight training. This program prepares students for high-demand careers as commercial pilots and flight instructors through affordable associate degrees and technical certificates.
  • Green2Gold is a selective partnership with Purdue University that offers students a local, affordable pathway to earn an associate degree in engineering at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios and seamlessly transfer to Purdue to complete a bachelor’s in one of 15 engineering disciplines.
  • Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios’s Cyber Academy, based at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center in Jennings County, empowers students to earn an associate degree and industry certifications in just 11 months while training in a real-world Department of Defense cyber environment.
  • The Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Franklin program gives high school students hands-on experience in advanced manufacturing while earning college credit and industry certifications. Partnering with local employers, students gain real-world skills for high-demand careers after graduation.
  • Advantage Shelby County is a community funded scholarship initiative that provides Shelby County high school graduates with FREE tuition, mentoring, and career-focused support to earn an associate degree and prepare for transfer or workforce entry.

Collegiate Purple Star Campus

Tier 1 Purple StarIn July 2025, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Columbus was designated as a Collegiate Purple Star of Indiana (CPSI) campus by the Indiana Commission for Higher Education. This award recognizes that the campus provides a supportive environment for U.S. military-affiliated students throughout their journey from application to graduation.

Recent Accomplishments

  • Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Columbus is a pilot campus for the Enlisted Training Corps (ETC)! This program aims to offer a new pathway for community college students to enlist in the military and provides students with a structured training experience, similar to the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC), that would educate and prepare them for military service.
