  7. Provides an understanding of welding tools and their uses

Welders are in high demand statewide, with an anticipated growth of 6% in job openings by 2033. This is a according to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development which makes it eligible for Workforce Ready Grant funding.

Class Details

Steel toes shoes required. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios will supply metal and other lab equipment.

This workforce certification is available for free to qualifying students through the Next Level Jobs program. You are eligible to earn this free certification from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios if you fulfill all of the following requirements:

  • You are an Indiana resident, and
  • You have a high school diploma or GED/High School Equivalency, and
  • You have not previously received an associate degree or higher (bachelor's, master's, etc.) and
  • You have not previously used Next Level Jobs/Workforce Ready Grant funding.
