The Facilities Assistant Work Study Student will perform assigned duties related to the operation of the facilities department, and assist the maintenance team, as needed. We are currently looking for a facilities student workstudy for both Kokomo and Logansport.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist with completing daily work orders.

· Assist with setting up and tearing down furniture for special events.

· Deliver mail to campus office locations.

· Complete minor landscaping projects, painting, lawn care, and various outdoor projects.

· Be available to receive orders at the facilities shop location.

· Must have a valid driver’s license and meet the requirements to be an authorized driver of a college vehicle.

· Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.

· Ability to use hand and power tools

· Move safely up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladders

· Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Required Experience: None, but maintenance experience preferred.

Starting Salary Range: $15.00 per hour
