Assist the library director by providing paraprofessional library support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

路聽Provide customer service and student advocacy

路聽Gather and report Library statistics

路聽Check-in/Monitor Smarter Proctoring virtual testing

路聽Answer phones and act as a campus contact point

路聽Fill in at Reception and Student Services desk, as needed

路聽Update daily reference analytics information

路聽If applicable-assist with student tutoring

路聽Provide library orientation/research strategy lectures

路聽Other duties as assigned

General Qualifications:

路聽Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need

路聽High School Diploma or G.E.D.

路聽Be able to communicate well orally and work well with diverse student populations

路聽Maintain a minimum of 6 credit hours of enrollment in eligible courses

路聽Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status

路聽Student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater

路聽Display a professional appearance and demeanor

路聽Must be dependable, responsible and organized

路聽Must work cooperatively with others and accept direction from supervisors

路聽Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

路聽Must be able to practice confidentiality in all aspects of work

路聽Must have excellent customer service skills

路聽Confidentiality must be maintained and followed along with FERPA regulations

路聽Performs other duties as assigned
