Major Responsibilities
- Counsels students in person, by phone and emails regarding their financial aid.
- Verifies financial aid files.
- Packages and awards financial aid. Follows up on payments to students.
- Conduct financial aid outreach to current Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios students and prospective Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios students in the local community.
- Administer and fully utilize federal campus-based aid programs, including the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant and the Federal Work-Study Program.
- Assist in Veteran’s Benefits as they relate to financial aid
Hiring Range:
- $40,000-45,000 annually based on experience
Working Hours:
- Typical business work hours, may be adjusted during peak times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in a business discipline or public administration.
- The ability to work well with others and maintain absolute confidentiality is essential.
- Position requires a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of college students and employees.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience administering student financial aid.
