General Qualifications:
·ÌýEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
·ÌýExperience: None required; customer service, lab, or technical experience preferred.
·ÌýEligibility: Must have a completed FAFSA demonstrating financial need, maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), and be enrolled in at least 1 credit hour of eligible coursework during employment or the coming term.
Duties & Responsibilities:
·ÌýAssist with preparation of lab materials and class setups.
·ÌýMaintain and organize lab equipment, parts, and materials (including consumables and non-consumables).
·ÌýMaintain a standardized system for tracking and replenishing parts, consumables, and supplies.
·ÌýAssist with inventory, ordering, and documentation for lab materials.
·ÌýSupport maintenance and repair of machinery, welding, and training equipment.
·ÌýMaintain lab cleanliness and readiness for tours and instruction (wiping surfaces, removing scrap, organizing storage areas, etc.).
·ÌýPrepare and package equipment for transfer between sites, ensuring all components are included.
·ÌýDevelop and maintain online tracking or visual inventory systems for trainers, parts, and consumables.
·ÌýPerform periodic checks of equipment and materials to ensure readiness and report issues as needed.
·ÌýCommunicate with supervisors regarding repair needs, reordering, or prioritization of tasks.
·ÌýOther duties as assigned in support of lab and program operations.
