MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain CTE academic course completion guides
- Assist academic and CTE program faculty to develop accelerated learning pathways
- Lead activities that advance knowledge through career exploration and development
- Guide CTE faculty in the integration of academic skills into CTE programs of study
- Provide academic counseling and career guidance to CTE students as appropriate
- Work with CTE faculty, deans, and other campus stakeholders to better understand data and student needs, specifically those of special populations
- Review CTE student performance in Math and English courses required in Technical Certificates and work with Academic Deans to improve performance as appropriate
- Support development and implementation of career-technical education programs and activities that result in increased student achievement
- Assist Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs to develop and implement the evaluation of activities funded by Perkins, including those necessary to complete the comprehensive local needs assessment
- Attend local and statewide meetings in support of Perkins grant objectives
- Monitor success of our nontraditional students in CTE programs
- Support the K-14 team in opportunities for CTE concurrent enrollment and assisting students to make informed decisions to continue in CTE pathways
- Monitor and interpret labor market data relevant to the high skill/high demand jobs in the campus service area.
- Collect programmatic technical outcome data from CTE programs and work with VCAA, deans, and program faculty to analyze annually.
- Review and analyze data relevant to needs and impact associated with the Perkins grant.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Ìý
- Master's Degree and experience in CTE education
- Must demonstrate ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees and which every individual feels respected and valued.
- Demonstrated skills and abilities to concurrently manage numerous tasks, some with conflicting priorities required.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Must be able and willing to travel to and from campus sites.
- Ability to work within anÌýentrepreneurial framework and scaleÌýlarge projects required.
