Provide general information about admissions, registration, financial aid, orientation, assessment, and business support.
Assist with all special projects and mailings, as well as providing filing, data entry, telephone and clerical assistance for the various departments in Student Affairs.
Read and understand forms for all departments and provide proper forms to customers. Verify completeness of forms and accompanying materials.
Maintain appropriate inventory of necessary student materials. Compile information packets and mail as requested by the Admissions office.
Greet visitors and students, clarify and answer general questions, and/or enter students into queuing systems to be seen by appropriate departments.
Make appointments for academic advisors and college connection coaches using a Salesforce platform.
Assist students with starting FAFSA.
Assist students with starting the admissions process.
Be able to assist students with activating their MyIvy account. Distribute general college and Enrollment Center information (e.g., catalogs/program brochures/course descriptions and forms) to students.
Collect and date-stamp student forms for back office/processing support.
Function effectively in a team environment.
Maintain working knowledge of emergency/safety procedures and provided by supervisor.
Be knowledgeable of the location of the electronic and hard copy of procedures when applicable in order to deliver information as needed to customers.
Conduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Compensation: $18.00 per hour with full benefits.
Associate degree in related field preferred and 1 year of related work experience required.
Keyboarding skills.
Ability to operate word processing/computer equipment.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Ability to operate copier and other office related equipment.
Willingness and ability to provide Tier 1 level student support through use of various software applications (queuing, student, financial).
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Pleasant disposition, good attitude, and ability to get along with others.
Formal secretarial/clerical training with experience operating a multi-line phone system preferred. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate evidence of ability to successfully work in a team environment.
