Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios is recruiting for a Part Time Seasonal Worker who will support the Facilities Department by helping maintain a safe, clean, and attractive campus environment. The position focuses on landscaping, lawn care, grounds maintenance, and assisting with facility improvement and maintenance projects. This candidate must have a valid driver's license and be approved to be insured by the college's approved driver authorization policy.

This part-time position will provide primary assistance with:

Mowing, trimming, and edging lawns throughout campus.

Weeding, mulching, watering, and maintain landscaped areas and flower beds.

Removing litter, debris, and other materials from campus grounds.

Additional duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager

Minimum Qualifications:              

Must have and be able to maintain a valid Indiana Driver's License and be able to be covered as a driver on Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios's Auto policy.

Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

Must be able to adhere to safety procedures to do physical risks and have a working knowledge of power landscape equipment .   

Candidate must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn; have the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and be able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

$15/ hour Up to 28 hours a week

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, equipment, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work involves exposure to unusual elements and extreme temperatures, on occasion requiring alternative scheduling due to inclement weather. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
