Front Desk StaffÌý

Position Summary:Ìý
The Front Desk Staff serves as the first point of contact for members, families, visitors, and partners. This role ensures a welcoming, safe, and organized environment while supporting daily administrative operations.Ìý

Key Responsibilities:Ìý

  • Greet and check in members, parents, and visitors in a friendly and professional mannerÌý
  • Monitor entry and exit of members to ensure safety and accountabilityÌý
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiriesÌý
  • MaintainÌýaccurateÌýattendance and membership recordsÌý
  • Support registration, fee collection, and data entry as neededÌý
  • Communicate daily announcements and updates to staff and familiesÌý
  • AssistÌýwith distributing forms, newsletters, and program informationÌý
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk areaÌý
  • Support staff with clerical tasks and special projectsÌý
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all timesÌý

Requirements:Ìý

Able to stand and/or walk up to 25% ofÌýthe time. Able to sit up to 50% of the time. Able to view a computerÌýmonitorÌýforÌý4-5Ìýhours per day. Some travel may beÌýrequiredÌýinÌýa companyÌýor personal vehicle. Must be able toÌýlift upÌýto 25 pounds at times.Ìý

Custodial StaffÌý

Position Summary:Ìý
The Custodial Staff ensures that Club facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for youth, families, and staff.Ìý

Key Responsibilities:Ìý

  • Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, gym areas, and common spaces dailyÌý
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, andÌýmaintainÌýfloorsÌý
  • Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facilityÌý
  • Restock restroom and cleaning suppliesÌý
  • Maintain safe storage of cleaning chemicals and equipmentÌý
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks and report repair needs promptlyÌý
  • Support event setup and breakdown (tables, chairs, equipment)Ìý
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all timesÌý
  • Ensure building security procedures are followed during opening/closingÌý

Requirements:Ìý

Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand/walkÌýfor extended periods.ÌýAble to bend, stoop, or kneel as cleaning assignments require.ÌýAble to work on ladders as needed.ÌýÌý

Kitchen StaffÌý

Position Summary:Ìý
Kitchen Staff prepares and serves nutritious meals and snacksÌýin accordance withÌýstate and federal guidelines, supporting the health and well-being of Club members.Ìý

Key Responsibilities:Ìý

  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to approved menusÌý
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulationsÌý
  • MaintainÌýaccurateÌýmeal counts and required documentationÌý
  • Properly storeÌýfood andÌýmonitorÌýexpirationÌýdatesÌý
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfacesÌý
  • Manage inventory and communicate supply needsÌý
  • Accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies asÌýrequiredÌý
  • Ensure safe food handling practices at all timesÌý
  • SupportÌýspecial eventsÌýand community meal programs when neededÌý

Program Support Staff – Reading & TutoringÌý

Position Summary:Ìý
Program Support StaffÌýassistsÌýwith academic enrichment, focusing on literacy development, homework help, and tutoring support to promote educational success.Ìý

Key Responsibilities:Ìý

  • Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in reading and coreÌýsubjectsÌýforÌýchildren who are in elementary schoolÌý
  • Support literacy-building activities and structured reading programsÌý
  • AssistÌýmembers with homework completion and comprehensionÌý
  • Encourage positive study habits and time management skillsÌý
  • Track student progress and communicate updates to supervisorsÌý
  • Create engaging, age-appropriate learning activitiesÌý
  • Support collaboration with schools, teachers, and familiesÌý
  • Promote a positive and encouraging learning environmentÌý
  • Reinforce Club expectations for behavior and participationÌý
  • Serve as a mentor and positive role model for youthÌý

Requirements:Ìý

Able to stand and/or walk up to 75% ofÌýthe time. Could require running and expended periods of standing and walking. Able to sit up to 25% of the time. Able to view a computerÌýmonitorÌýdaily. Some travel may beÌýrequiredÌýin a company or personal vehicle. Must be able toÌýlift upÌýto 50 pounds at times.Ìý

To Qualify for our Federal Work Study program students:

Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours each semester.
• Students must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress as determined by the Financial Aid Office.
• Students must have a current and completed FAFSA on file.
• Student must demonstrate financial need.

Selected candidate for employment will be subject to pre-employment
background checks, including criminal history check, and any offer of employment will be contingent upon that outcome. Official transcripts required upon hiring.
