Students who choose to start their college journey at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios and then transfer to another college or university can save more than $10,000 on their bachelor's degree.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios offers a variety of transfer pathways to consider:

YOUR ADMISSION TO 25 SCHOOLS, GUARANTEED

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios has agreements with 25 four-year colleges and universities in Indiana that allow our students to complete their associate degree in an approved program at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios and gain automatic acceptance to transfer to one of those schools.

These agreements mean that Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios and your future transfer school have agreed to a specific set of courses you need to take to earn your degree which eliminates any loss of credits and ensures you are able to complete your bachelor's degree on time.

AN AFFORDABLE START TO YOUR BACHELOR'S DEGREE

The Transfer as a Junior pathway—you might also hear people call it TSAP—is for students who plan to spend two years at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios and then transfer to any public Indiana four-year university as a junior. In those two years at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios, you can earn an associate degree and then transfer to the four-year institution to pursue a companion bachelor's degree.Ìý

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios offers the lowestÌýtuition in the state, and students on the Transfer as a Junior pathway who complete their first two years of college at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios can save upward of $10,000 on their bachelor's degree. Saving money and graduating with less college debt is a smart start to your degree!

GET A SMARTER START ON YOUR DEGREE

The Start as a Sophomore pathway—Ģ¹½ÊÓƵios's name for the Indiana College Core—consists of a block of 30 credit hours of general education classes guaranteed to transfer to another Indiana public college or university without losing any credits. The block is equivalent to your first year of college so you can start as a sophomore at any Indiana four-year institution.

Start as a Sophomore is offered at 29ÌýÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵios locations throughout the state as well as 100% online.

As a transfer student, you may complete an associate degree or individual classes at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios and then transfer to another college or university to continue your studies.Ìý

TRANSFER CREDIT FROM ANOTHER COLLEGE TO IVY TECH

You can receive transfer credits for classes you have taken at another college or university by submitting transcripts to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios for evaluation. If your transfer credit is accepted, you can apply those credits toward earning your certificate or associate degree from Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios—bringing your educational goals within reach even faster.

Submitting Transcripts

If your previous institution uses a Secure E-Transcript Service, you may request that your Secure Official transcript be emailed to us atÌýtranscripts@ivytech.edu. The E-transcript service is a very efficient way to have your transcript sent to us; in most cases, it arrives in our office the same day you request it.

Only courses with grades of C- or higher are eligible for review for credit transfer. Students are responsible for providing pertinent course descriptions and/or copies of the college catalog(s) if further documentation is needed to facilitate the review.Ìý

Transfer Back to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios & Receive an Associate Degree

Do you ever feel like you have been in school forever and don't have much to show for it?Ìý

The Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios Reverse Transfer program was created for students who start their college journey at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios, then transfer to a four-year school for their bachelor’s, but haven't yet received an associate or bachelor's degree.

If that sounds like you, you may be eligible to transfer your credits BACK to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵios and receive an associate degree—for no additional cost!
