Hamsou Iro, a biotechnology student at ĢƵios Indianapolis, is making the most of her education with the help of the Lilly Scholars at ĢƵios scholarship. In a new video, Hamsou shares her inspiring journey from working as a packing associate to pursuing her passion for science in ĢƵios’s hands-on biotechnology program.
After reducing her work hours to focus on school, Hamsou was thrilled to receive the Lilly Scholars scholarship, which covers full tuition and books. The program has not only eased her financial burden but also opened doors to incredible opportunities, including tours of Eli Lilly and Company’s manufacturing facilities and paid apprenticeships.
“This became a huge motivation for me to strive and keep working hard,” Hamsou says.
