Bloomington — Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Foundation will kick off at 12:01 a.m. ET on April 23. At Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Bloomington, there will be multiple opportunities to participate in celebrating the college throughout the day and the community is invited to campus to get involved.
Campus events:
- All Day: Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Photobooth
- All Day: Dine-to-donate at Mother Bear’s pizza (both locations)
- 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.: Gabel’s Bagels Bar
- 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Chancellor Coyne Cookout
- 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Mocktails by Hospitality Students
- 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Pie that Person
- 5 p.m.: Pie the Chancellor Raffle
This is the college’s second annual day of giving aimed at assisting the college’s more than 190,000 students statewide, including the more than 11,500 students at the Bloomington campus. Funds go toward area of greatest need and includes scholarships and emergency funding that helps students prepare to launch into successful careers.
Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Bloomington contributes nearly $79 million annually to the regional economy, including a net impact of nearly $52 million from alumni working in the region. 93% of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios graduates stay in Indiana to pursue their careers.
Anyone can contribute on Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Day at starting at 12:01 a.m. ET on April 23. Alumni and friends are invited to participate. The inaugural Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Day in 2023 inspired 2,032 gifts totaling more than $243,000 statewide.
