��BLOOMINGTON – Ģ����Ƶios Bloomington and Springs Valley Junior-Senior High School have partnered to help students get a head start on college by offering the in high school. The credential is a 30 credit hour general education core of college credit guaranteed to transfer to Indiana public colleges and universities.

“We are excited for our students to have this opportunity through Ģ����Ƶios,” said Principal Kyle Neukam. “Springs Valley will always work to provide the best course offerings for all of our students.”

Students take high school and Ģ����Ƶios classes at the same time through dual credit or dual enrollment. Earning the core provides students the chance to at Ģ����Ƶios or other public universities, having already completed their first year of college credits.

“Ģ����Ƶios Bloomington is thrilled that Springs Valley High School is now an Early College high school,” said Joe Hughbanks, Ģ����Ƶios Bloomington Director of K-14 Initiatives. “Earning the Indiana College Core credential in high school can significantly reduce the cost of higher education and improve college success. It is a testament to Springs Valley’s vision that they have implemented this pathway to put their students in position to succeed in life after high school.”

Springs Valley is the 11th school in Ģ����Ƶios Bloomington’s service area to join early college at Ģ����Ƶios. Other early college high schools include The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship, Bloomfield, Bloomington North, Eastern Greene, Loogootee, Martinsville, Mitchell, Mooresville, Paoli, and West Washington.
