Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios’s Bloomington campus is hosting a 20th building anniversary Open House on Sept. 15 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend to explore campus grounds, discover the more than 70 academic programs offered, and learn about employer and scholarship partners. Guided tours will be available at 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 4:30 p.m.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Bloomington opened its doors to students in August 2002 with 2,600 students. Today, the campus serves 10,000 students annually. Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Bloomington has an eight-county service area, including Brown, Greene, Lawrence, Martin, Morgan, Monroe, and Orange Counties. While the campus has an eight-county service area, it serves students from nearly all 92 counties in the state.

Academic programs and services unique to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Bloomington include the Gayle & Bill Cook Center for Entrepreneurship, the , the Indiana Center for the Life Sciences,ÌýKinesiology & Exercise Science,ÌýOptician & Eye Care, and Radiation Therapy.

Optician & Eye Care and Radiation Therapy are the only 2-year training programs in the state of Indiana, creating a high demand for graduates. Optician & Eye Care offers a certification that can be completed in just 33 credit hours and is tuition-free for eligible students, funded by the state’s Next Level Jobs Workforce Ready Grant.

Also, in a unique partnership with the Monroe County Airport, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Bloomington’s Automotive Technology program was established there and dedicated in October 2020. Airplane hangars were converted by Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios into automotive training garages. Automotive Technology offers tuition-free certifications for eligible students, funded by the state’s Next Level Jobs Workforce Ready Grant.
