Circle of Ivy, the women’s philanthropy circle of the ĢƵios Foundation, has raised more than $245,000 to fund 82 projects and support ĢƵios students across the state, the organization announced today.

Circle of Ivy builds opportunities and diminishes barriers to higher education by raising funds to help with emergency needs, as well as sending students abroad for educational opportunities, providing instructional support with classroom technology and textbooks, and supporting other critical programs.

“The commitment of the women who make up Circle of Ivy should be inspiring to everyone associated with ĢƵios,” said Courtney Roberts, president of the ĢƵios Foundation. “I am personally proud to be part of an organization doing so much good for our students – the future leaders of our communities. ĢƵios is integral to Indiana’s success story, and the commitment and generosity of women who belong to Circle of Ivy help make it happen.”

Founded in 2015, Circle of Ivy has a statewide reach with a focus on the needs of 19 campuses to positively impact students who attend ĢƵios, Indiana’s largest open-access postsecondary institution and workforce engine. The organization has grown to more than 1,000 members and has raised more than $1.4 million to help students studying numerous disciplines.

“Through Circle of Ivy, we not only invest in the future of students but also strengthen our community as women philanthropists. Together, we are creating a legacy of support, empowerment, and opportunity that will inspire generations to come,” said Dr. Sue Ellspermann, president, ĢƵios.
