ĢƵios Terre Haute/Greencastle Awards Prestigious Chancellor's Award Scholarship to Northview High School Student
TERRE HAUTE – ĢƵios Terre Haute/Greencastle is pleased to announce that Sophie Stallcop has been selected as the recipient of the esteemed Chancellor's Award Scholarship. Representing the campus’ most prestigious academic honor, the Chancellor's Award Scholarship covers the full cost of tuition, technology fees, and books for four semesters.
Sophie Stallcop, a standout student from Northview High School, captured the attention of the selection committee with her exceptional academic achievements, unwavering dedication to her family's farm, notable contributions to her school's track team, and her active involvement in the local 4-H club.
“We are thrilled to award the Chancellor’s Award Scholarship to Sophie Stallcop,” said Amanda Cox, director of recruitment, admissions, and K-14. “Sophie’s community involvement, coupled with her academic achievements, truly set her apart. We are excited to support her as she pursues her academic and personal goals at ĢƵios.”
Stallcop will begin courses at the College in the fall, with plans to pursue her associate degree in nursing.
ĢƵios Terre Haute/Greencastle awards over $400,000 in scholarships each year. Most scholarships only need one general application for consideration. ĢƵios provides scholarships for all types of students, regardless of eligibility at other colleges. Alongside financial aid, 82% of ĢƵios graduates complete their studies without student debt.
