Last week, four Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Indianapolis entrepreneurial students were awarded scholarships at the second annual JoJo's Jumpstart Birthday Bash, held at the Northside Events & Social Club. The event, hosted by Jeff and Robin Kontor in memory of their son, Jordan Kontor, founder of Hoosierscapes Landscaping, celebrated the impact of entrepreneurship and raised over $65,000 through fundraising activities.
JoJo's Jumpstart Foundation provides financial assistance through scholarships and business support for young adults pursuing education, trade school, or entrepreneurship. Each scholarship recipient is paired with a mentor for emotional support throughout their journey, focusing on young people with learning disabilities or limited resources. This year, the foundation awarded scholarships to Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios students Danielle Lewis, Trynessa Bunton-Abercrombie, Marvin Boss, and Michelle Johnson.
