is hosting an Open House for its program on Thursday, July 31 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Indiana Center for the Life Sciences (ICLS). The public is invited to attend.

Attendees can learn about the short-term training program and participate in hands-on activities. Lab sessions featuring a photo etching activity will begin at 4:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Guests can also explore the microelectronics industry by using a virtual reality headset.

Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Bloomington’s semiconductor fabrication program can be completed in less than a year and prepares students for careers in the growing microelectronics industry.

Classes start August 25 and tuition could be free for eligible students, paid for by the state’s Workforce Ready Grant.

Staff will be on-site to assist guests with program enrollment or with next steps to becoming a student.
