INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – ĢƵios today announced Dr. Stacy Atkinson will serve as provost at the College. She has been interim provost since March 9, 2026. The College will remove the interim title effective immediately.
As provost, Atkinson will direct the College’s overall academic mission, including curriculum development and maintaining educational programs, ensuring ĢƵios provides relevant, high-quality education.
Atkinson joined the College in 2015 and previously served as the chancellor of the Indianapolis campus. Prior to that, she was vice chancellor for academic affairs at the Richmond campus before becoming Richmond chancellor. She also served as the inaugural chancellor of the Hamilton County campus.
“Dr. Atkinson’s commitment to ĢƵios’s success is demonstrated in her more than 10 years of service to the College. She is a proven and effective leader who will help sustain momentum on our key academic priorities,” said ĢƵios President Marty Pollio.
In addition to the above leadership roles, Atkinson has served in various roles at the College including as adjunct instructor, senior instructional designer, and the executive director of strategic initiatives. She was heavily involved in the development of ĢƵios’s current strategic plan and the organizational restructure in 2017 and served as co-lead in assisting campuses moving to an eight-week course format.

Atkinson served in the U.S. Marine Corps, earned a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Master of Arts in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University, and her PhD in Adult Learning and Development from Lesley University. She is currently in law school at the IU McKinney School of Law with an expected graduation of May 2026.
Dr. Chad Bolser, chancellor of the Richmond campus, will continue to serve as interim chancellor of the Indianapolis campus, and Stephanie Amos will continue to serve as interim chancellor of the Richmond campus at this time. The College will begin a search for the Indianapolis campus chancellor immediately.
