Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios has officially announced the formation of a presidential search committee to oversee the selection of the College's next president. The committee, composed of representatives from the State Board of Trustees and a faculty member, will identify a visionary leader to guide the institution as it continues to grow and fulfill its mission of serving Indiana’s communities.

The individuals serving on the search committee include:

  • Andrew Wilson, State Trustee, Chair and Co-Chair of the Search Committee, Evansville
  • Kim Emmert-O’Dell, State Trustee, Vice Chair and Co-Chair of the Search Committee, Terre Haute; Emmert-O’Dell also serves as a member of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios Foundation Board.
  • Marianne Glick, State Trustee, At-Large
  • Kerry Stemler, State Trustee, Sellersburg
  • Michael Dora, State Trustee Secretary, Richmond
  • Autumn McNichols, Faculty Member, Hamilton County

In June, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios's current president, Dr. Sue Ellspermann, announced that she will be stepping down at the end of her current contract in June 2025.

This is an important moment for Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios, and we are confident that this process will result in the selection of a leader who will continue to build on the College’s legacy of excellence.

The committee will seek input from stakeholders during listening sessions in October to ensure the process reflects the needs and aspirations of the College. will facilitate these discussions.

The Board has hired national executive search firm, , to conduct a thorough search for candidates who demonstrate the leadership, experience, and vision needed to advance the mission of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios.

The search is expected to be completed by spring 2025. Updates on the search process, including opportunities for community engagement and feedback, will be shared regularly on the Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµios website at IvyTech.com/President-Search.
