INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Today, Ģ����Ƶios announced results of the generosity of 14,000 donors who have invested in Ģ����Ƶios over the past five years. The Ģ����Ƶios Foundation recently wrapped up its first–ever comprehensive fundraising campaign – a five-year statewide effort called Invest IN Ģ����Ƶios. The campaign focused on creating an impact on Ģ����Ƶios students, communities, and the state.

The campaign concluded during the 60^th anniversary of the founding of Ģ����Ƶios. Donors committed $340 million earmarked for student scholarships and related support, workforce development, infrastructure, and next-generation programs for those attending one of the College’s 19 campuses.

“The outpouring of support for Ģ����Ƶios has truly been a testament to our 60 years as Indiana’s community college and the strong bond our campuses have with their communities,” said Courtney Roberts, Ģ����Ƶios Foundation president. “When I travel to communities and talk to leaders across the state, they have a keen awareness of what Ģ����Ƶios delivers, and they always want to know what more is coming to serve Hoosiers in their area. The results of this campaign underscore their belief in our work.”

Donors to the campaign included alumni who have benefitted from their Ģ����Ƶios education, community partners who embrace the value Ģ����Ƶios delivers to their area, and faculty and staff who believe in the mission and vision of the College. The funds raised do not go toward operational expenses and help the College maintain its low tuition – the lowest in the state.

Funds are already being used to enhance opportunities for students and build stronger communities in Indiana. The College has expanded its nursing program and now produces more graduates with associate degrees in nursing than any college in the U.S., helping to ensure healthcare facilities and patients have the support they need. The Lilly Scholars program will support high school and college students with diverse backgrounds who intend to pursue careers in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The campaign produced more than 400 new scholarships for students across Indiana, and new facilities such as those in Columbus, Kokomo, and Muncie which provide state-of-the-art learning experiences for students attending those campuses.

The campaign focused on four primary areas of impact:

• Our Students, funded at $150 million.
• Our Workforce, funded at $121 million.
• Our Infrastructure, funded at $42 million.
• Our Future, funded at $27 million.

Ģ����Ƶios contributes to the lives of students and our communities in numerous ways:

• Eight of ten students who graduate from Ģ����Ƶios do so without student debt.
• Ģ����Ƶios graduates more nurses with associate degrees than any college in the nation, and most stay in Indiana to pursue their careers.
• The College contributes to 1 of every 70 jobs across Indiana.
• Ģ����Ƶios awards more than 40,000 credentials and certifications each year, and nearly all who graduate – 93 percent – stay in the Hoosier State.
